¡Nos derretimos con estas fotos de Leonardo DiCaprio!

Todos sabemos que Leonardo DiCaprio siempre está preocupado por el resto, especialmente con los animales y temas medioambientales.

Por eso, no pudimos evitar enamorarnos (más) de él cuando vimos estas imágenes de su labor como activista en Indonesia, donde está participando en una campaña para proteger el bosque en Leuser, destacando su respaldo a través de sus redes sociales: «La fundación Leonardo DiCaprio se encuentra apoyando a los activistas locales para lograr establecer una reserva natural en el ecosistema de Leuser, el último lugar en la Tierra donde orangutanes, tigres, rinocerontes y elefantes cohabitan en libertad».

La causa busca salvar la zona ante la destrucción ocasionadas por las plantaciones de palma de aceite, las explotaciones mineras, la construcción de carreteras y otros proyectos que impactan al medio ambiente. Por lo cual, quieren que el lugar sea un gran santuario natural.

Definitivamente es un #MinoVerdadero por estar siempre pendiente de ayudar las causas sociales, ¡grande Leo!

The lowland #rainforest of the Leuser Ecosystem are considered the world’s best remaining habitat for the critically endangered Sumatran #elephant. In these forests, ancient elephant migratory paths are still used by some of the last #wild herds of Sumatran elephants. But the expansion of Palm Oil plantations is fragmenting the #forest and cutting off key elephant migratory corridors, making it more difficult for elephant families to find adequate sources of food and water. The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation is supporting local partners to establish a mega-fauna sanctuary in the Leuser Ecosystem, last place on Earth where Sumatran orangutans, tigers, rhinos and elephants coexist in the wild.
